What is "Letters from Harriet"?

Before there was LouellaMail, the e-mail serial, there was "Letters from Harriet," the monthly snail-mail letter from a nice midwestern lesbian looking for love. When production and mailing costs outpaced subscription prices, Harriet stopped writing her letters, and Harriet's best friend Louella, a more electro-savvy gal, began writing e-mail.
