Eric's business card should read: "Neonate Care Consultant and Lactation Support Specialist." Three conversations from the last couple of days:
Eric: Why is Carl fussing?
Mama: I'm not sure.
Eric: Maybe we need to change him.
Eric: Why is Carl moving his head like that?
Mama: I think he's hungry.
Eric: Get out your breast.
Eric, watching Carl make several abortive attempts to latch on to my left breast, the one with the flattish nipple: Hmmm. Do we need to pump it?
