I was still having contractions when I finally fell asleep at midnight, but I woke at 2:30 and all was quiet. It was just like hearing silence after hours of noise: my uterus was resting. It was a restless night, I ache from hips to ribs, and I'm still having occasional contractions, but whatever my uterus was up to, it seems to be done for now.
