Tabs I Have Open
Some time ago, Andy Ihnatko amused himself by listing the windows he had open in his web browser. For your edification, I will now amuse myself the same way.
- The Official Bacon Brothers Site: Because Eric and I have been listening to Philadelphia Chickens a lot and we really like their two songs on there. So we are wondering if we should buy a Bacon Brothers CD. We listened to part of one track on the website earlier and weren't sure we liked it.
- Genius Toiling in Obscurity: Because I was proofreading a new entry.
- Flylady: Because one of these days I'm going to stop just reading about it and give her system a try.
- My weblog application, because I've been uploading new entries.
- Bob the Builder: Can we fix it? Yes, we can. Eric has seen the show about one time, but he loves Bob.
- Tractor Tom: British Bob the Builder clone we saw in our hotel room the other week. I liked it better than Bob, and I find the theme song less cloying ("He's Tractor Tom! Tom, Tom, Tom, Tom! Three cheers for Tom! Tom, Tom, Tom, Hooray!" It's better with the music). That's good when your two-year-old wants to listen to it forty times in a row before his nap. Also, despite the title, the main character is actually Farmer Fi, a--gasp--woman.
- The website for the writing course I teach, which you can't get to because it's password-protected.
- Our district library catalog. I'm a very heavy user of the system.
- Critical article on the use of student evaluations of faculty, which I was reading earlier.
- Bookslut.
- Amazon: Because I've been looking up book URLs for the blog, and because I am actively resisting the desire to take a shopping cure for a lingering bit of malaise I'm suffering lately. "I'm sure a new book or CD would solve all my problems!"
